“Solar Water Pumping System” implemented in the Süleymanlı village, a district of Elmadağ in Ankara, designed to achieve the goal of pumping
30-35 tons of water daily up to 30 meters, supplying a preferable and a sustainable system for watering the fields in the village. The project aimed at reducing the energy consumption of the village, lowering the electricity costs of the village for pumping water. The system was designed to produce energy for pumping the water as long as the sun is efficient and work by receiving electricity from the grid when there is no efficient sun light to benefit from.
