REGULATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP

RULES OF ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP

OF THE HIGHER BOARD OF

THE CLEAN ENERGY FOUNDATION

 1.    Real persons and legal entities can be members of the Higher Board of the Clean Energy Foundation. Applications for membership of the Higher Board, both from within Turkey and from abroad by Turks or foreigners are evaluated according to the following:

 2.    Real persons and legal entities who want to become a member can apply to the Administrative Board of the Clean Energy Foundation with a formal request, to which they can add the proposals which they might receive from the members of the Higher Board of the Clean Energy Foundation. Real persons and legal entities who apply for membership of the Higher Board should add to their formal application a copy of the receipt showing that they have deposited a donation in the amount as specified in Article 4 of this document, to the bank account (No. 2036884) of the Foundation at Vakıflar Bank Central Branch, Ankara. A short curriculum vitae of the real persons and a document about the field of activities of the legal entities should be added to the formal application.

3.    Real persons and legal entitites who apply for membership of the Higher Board are nominated for membership of the Administrative Board or the Higher Board at the first meeting of the Higher Board following the date of the application. The curriculum vitae or the document about the field of activity of the legal entity submitted with the formal application is either read aloud at the meeting of the Higher Board, or its copies are distributed to the members of the Higher Board. The Higher Board may request other informative document(s) if it considers it necessary. Members of the Higher Board are elected by the absolute majority of the full number of members of the Higher Board. On special occasions members of the Higher Board may be elected upon the decision of the Administrative Board, without waiting for a Higher Board meeting, by the signatures of the absolute majority of the full number of members of the Higher Board.

4.    Real persons and legal entities to be elected as members of the Higher Board of the Clean Energy Foundation should make a donation in the amount specified during the preceding meeting of the Higher Board.

5.    These rules are valid as of April 1^st, 1995.
